I wrapped up my externship with IMA Financial Group, Inc. After being awarded the Bill Cohen IMA scholarship through the Cohen Honors College, I had the opportunity to complete an externship this semester. I traveled to the Denver office for a day to meet leadership and had numerous virtual meetings throughout the semester to learn about each aspect of the company. I gave a final presentation about my experience and the key takeaways I had. Going into the externship, I did not know much about the insurance industry. However, after the experience, I understand how the industry works and how IMA sets itself apart with all its different offerings for clients outside of traditional insurance. I can not thank everyone at IMA Financial Group, Inc. enough for the time and resources they put into me! A special thanks to Jeff Jamison for organizing the entire program!
I'm looking forward to continuing the relationship with them.
